Srinagar, Feb 24 (KNS): At least 50 shops were gutted in a mysterious fire in the intervening night of Tuesday-Wednesday in Uri town of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
According to KNS correspondent, almost 50 shops were gutted in fire while the cause of blaze is yet to be ascertained, a police official said.
According to him, locals, army and officials from Fire and Emergency Services brought the fire into control, but the people suffered huge loss of their properties.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
While talking to KNS, a victim who suffered loss in the midnight blaze said, “With the blaze, I lost my livelihood. I have three daughters and I am not able to understand what I am going to do and what not.”
A top police official said that the investigation is going on and the cause of fire is yet to be ascertained. (KNS)
