Srinagar, Feb 03 (KNS): Jama’at-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir (JeI) expresses deep resentment and anguish over unjustified firing upon the residential house of Mohammad Maqbool Sheikh in village Mantrigam Bandipora during the night hours without any cause and terms it a deliberate attempt to terrorize the innocent people of Kashmir which tantamount to hooliganism. Had these armed forces not the support of AFSPA giving them unbridled power to harass and intimidate anybody without assigning any reason, such incidents would never have taken place. It's because of these black laws being in force that the innocent Kashmiri people are subjected to worst type of inhuman treatment at the hands of these unruly armed forces.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
In a statement issued to KNS, JeI appeals the international community to come forward and see the plight of the innocent people here at the hands of the armed forces having been licensed to commit atrocities and human rights violations.
JeI while expressing deep concern over the health conditions of Hurriyat (G) Chairman Syed Ali Geelani presently under treatment in SKIMS, Soura, prays to Allah wholeheartedly for his speedy recovery.
JeI also condemns the local regime for putting him under house detention constantly thereby debarring him even from attending his religious duties and describes it a barbaric action. (KNS)
