Srinagar, June 1 (KNS): Prominent religious and veteran Gujjar leader Alhaj Mian Bashir Ahmed, Sajjada Nasheen Darbar Baba Ji Larvi (RA) has expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demise of well known Islamic scholar Mufti Faiz-ul-Waheed Sahib, who first translated Qur'an into Gojri language.

 

In a statement issued, Mian Bashir termed Mufti Faiz Ul Waheed's demise a major loss for society and has left a void in the scholarly community. 
Mian Bashir Ahmed has prayed for peace to the departed soul.

 

Meanwhile, senior National Conference leader and former minister Mian Altaf Ahmed has also expressed grief over the demise of Mufti Faiz Ul Waheed.

 

Mian Altaf said that Mufti Sahab's contribution will be remembered for times to come. He prayed for peace to the departed soul and patience to the bereaved family for the loss.(KNS)
