Srinagar, Mar 12 (KNS): Senior National Conference Leader and MLA Kangan, Mian Altaf Ahmed has demanded suitable compensation to the farmers whose land is coming under Ring road construction in Ganderbal district.
In a statement issued to KNS, Mian Altaf said that Government should provide suitable compensation to the farmers whose land and residential houses are coming under Ring road including Manigam, Benhama areas, which envisages for construction of 4-lane Ring Road in Kangan, as proposed by National Highway Authority of India (NHAI). He urged upon the Government and Divisional administration to provide them suitable compensation so that they will not suffer as they have no alternative for residential and other purposes.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Mian Altaf Ahmed has also expressed grief over the loss of property in a fire incident at main market Kangan. Mian Altaf demanded that the fire victims of Kangan whose shops were gutted on Saturday should be compensated. He urged upon District Administration Ganderbal to provide them compensation at an earliest, so that they can resume their businesses. (KNS)
