Jammu, Dec 20 (KNS): Senior Gujjar Leader and MLA Kangan Mian Altaf Ahmed express shock over the killing of NC Youth President Kalakote. He expresses his condolences with the bereaved family and demands that ex-gratia relief and employment on compassionate grounds should be provided to the family of the deceased. He said that although no money could compensate this human lost but at least 20 lakh rupees should be given to the family.
In a statement to KNS, Mian Altaf Ahmed said ‘“I stand in solidarity with the bereaved family in this hour of grief and pray to Almighty to give them courage to withstand this tragic loss,” and added that in day light killing of youth shows how grave law and order situation prevail in Jammu and Kashmir and Govt. has no control over the system.

Despite his demand for the judicial inquiry, Altaf said that the justice system in J&K has ‘degraded, derailed’ and lost its credibility. He said that lack of accountability (in justice delivery system) gave a free hand to the killers.
“Punishment under law to the accused would have sent a strong message to the law enforcing agencies and we would not have witnessed gory incidents being repeated here again,” added the Senior Gujjar leader.
Mian Altaf also demand that All the VDC Guns be retrieve from the peoples of Nowshere, Kalakote and other parts of Rajouri Districts because instead of militants these guns are being used against the common peoples. (KNS)
