‘Such killing is bound to inflame the situation’

Srinagar, May 07 (KNS): Prominent Gujjar leader and former minister Mian Altaf Ahmed on Monday expressed grief over the killing of five civilians in south Kashmir.
In a statement issued to KNS, Mian Altaf Ahmed expressed shock and grief over the loss of innocent lives in south Kashmir and express solidarity with the bereaved families while reiterating serious concern over continued and unabated civilian killings in the Valley.

He said that “the law enforcing agencies are refusing to draw lessons from previous such experiences. Such killing is bound to inflame the situation. I demanded an immediate end to this recklessness,” Mian Altaf said.
Mian Altaf urged the central government and state government leadership to take appropriate and immediate measures to avoid the loss of human lives. (KNS)
