Srinagar, June 3 (KNS): The Opposition members Friday criticised Doordarshan for its “biased” coverage of the proceedings of the ongoing Budget Session.
NC leader and MLA Kangan Mian Altaf said in the Lower House today that Doordarshan is showing biased reportage on the Assembly proceedings and ignoring Opposition in the reporting.
“Doordarshan is showing only PDP-BJP members and certain officials.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelIt is not giving any coverage to opposition members,” Altaf said, pointing towards Deputy Speaker of LA, Nazir Gurezi.
The Deputy speaker assured the legislator that the officials of the Doordarshan will be summoned and issue will e taken up with them. I hope media gives a fair coverage to all,” he said. (KNS)
