“Relief teams working relentlessly in violence hit areas”

Srinagar, Aug 13 (KNS): To support the distressed people, who are facing curfew and restrictions for the last more than a month in conflict hit Kashmir, Mother Helpage Worldwide (MHW) provided food supplies and medical support to 500 families.
In a statement issued to KNS, a spokesperson of the international humanitarian organisation said the support teams of Mother Helpage Worldwide distributed food supplies and medical support to more than 500 vulnerable families mostly in worst affected areas of south Kashmir.
The Kashmir Valley has been going under one of the worst unrests in the recent years as nearly 60 people have died and more than 5000 injured during street protests for the last five weeks.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThe government has imposed strict curfew in the Valley which has made the movement of people difficult.
The continuous curfew and strike has created humanitarian crisis in the Valley with people facing acute shortage of essentials including medicines and baby food.
The MH spokesperson said its relief teams are working relentlessly in the violence hit areas and trying to reach out to as many families possible. (KNS)
