Srinagar, Feb 27 (KNS): Former Minister and DPN chief Ghulam Hassan Mir on Monday expressed concern over the recently released MHA report, saying if report is authentic, it is tantamount to declaring war against the people of Kashmir.
Mir in a telephonic statement told KNS that the MHA must come forward to clarify whether it has issued any such advisory to tackle the present crises in Kashmir valley that has been witnessing surge in violence related incidents since the killing of militant leader Burhan Wani on July 8, last year.
The DPN chief maintained that if any such advisory is issued by the MHA for Kashmir, then it is nothing but a clear declaration of war against the people of Valley. He expressed concern over the gag on media and madrassas, as being, reportedly, suggested by the MHA in his advisory.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
However, Mir said if the advisory is not authentic and MHA refutes its credibility, then it is the handiwork of those suspicious elements who are hell-bent to vitiate atmosphere in the already perturbed region.
The former minister stated that immediate dialogue is the only remedy of the present crises that seem to be knocking the doors hard with each passing day. He suggested that confrontation is not a remedy of the problem but confidence buildings measures are. “The GOI must come forward to bridge the gap and take youth into confidence. Sincere dialogue will yield the positive results and is need of an hour,” says Mir. (KNS)
