Srinagar, Jun 12 (KNS): On the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) workers in Mawer Block of Langate constituency in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district are denied payment of wages forcing them to threaten protest two days before Eid-ul-Fitr.
Talking to Kashmir News Services (KNS) the upset and angered MGNREGA workers of Mawer area of Langate Constituency of North Kashmir's Kupwara district said “we denied payment of wages even on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr and wages have not been paid to us for the last several months.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelWe will protests on the roads and in the concerned Block Development Office if the concerned authorities don’t pay us wages immediately.” (KNS)
