Srinagar, July 27 (KNS): The Meteorological Department, Srinagar on Tuesday forecast "good monsoon showers" from the morning of July 28 to July 30 in Jammu and Kashmir with heavy downpour in the Jammu region.

In a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), the MeT department said that the weather will be mainly hot and humid today, however, a brief spell of light rain is likely toward afternoon or evening at some places of Jammu and Kashmir. 
 
"Today, the weather Will be mainly hot and humid. Brief spell of light rain likely towards late afternoon/evening at some places of Jmu and Kmr," it reads. 

The statement reads that there will be a good monsoon shower, especially in the morning hours from July 28 to 30 with heavy downpours in the Jammu region. "We expect a significant rise in water levels in all rivers especially of Jammu region." (KNS)
