Handwara June 21 (KNS): After video of flash flood triggered by heavy rains in Nowgam Puthwari village of Handwara gone viral, men and machinery were pressed by authorities to avert danger, after video goes viral, men, machinery pressed to avert danger

Reports reaching to Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that heavy rains triggered flash flood in Nowgam Puthwari village, as the water from nearby stream was moving towards residential area, creates panic among villagers.

The locals caught the situation on camera and took to social media and sought help resulting in the video went viral following which Handwara administration swung into action, deputed men, machinery to avert the danger by moving water to other side.

SHO Qalamabad Jaan Mohammad, told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that he along with Beacon officials are on spot to assist in the operation while as situation is normal.(KNS)
