Srinagar, May 09 (KNS): Terming the statement of PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti as a big lie and contrary to the ground realities in which she had said that “the accession of Jammu & Kashmir with India is final and the future of the state is safe with this country”, Hurriyat (G) Monday said that Mehbooba Mufti want to appease her masters so that she can hold the CM chair for longer time and for this purpose she can go two steps beyond his fanatic coalition partner.
Hurriyat (G) in a statement issued to KNS made it clear that the people of Jammu & Kashmir hadn’t given her any mandate to make any decision regarding the accession or the future of the state and Mehbooba Mufti is talking beyond her jurisdiction and stature which is making his position more ridicules.
Hurriyat (G) said that the accession with the Indian Union was initiated by an individual person neglecting the wishes and opinion of the masses and the Kashmiri people had never accepted or acknowledged the forced illegal occupation of India here and they are at war with this oppressive country since last 7 decades.
“Mehbooba Mufti has every right to respect the views of her pro-Indian father regarding the accession of the state with India but she has no right to thrust her and her father’s views upon the people of Jammu & Kashmir. If she wants to be a loyal servant of RSS and the Sang Parivar, nobody will stop her but she has got no rights to insult and disgrace the aspirations and sacrifices of the Kashmiri people,” Hurriyat (G) said.
Hurriyat (G) said that the views of Mehbooba Mufti that “the future of this state is safe with India” is her compulsion and she is trying to become more loyal than the king otherwise the character and role of India in Kashmir from last 69 years is totally contrary to his statement.
Remaining with India had not only taken heavy toll over the lives and property of the Kashmiri nation but their honour, dignity and their Islamic identity is at stake. “Till now lakhs of innocent Kashmiri people have been mercilessly killed by the Indian oppressive forces and this killing process is continuing even today in the shape of Handwara like massacres. No case is registered, no investigation is held and nobody is held accountable for the crime against the humanity,” they said.
While terming the comparison of capital punishment in Pakistan by the Mehbooba Mufti as illogical and irrelevant, Hurriyat (G) said that all these cases in Pakistan go through a long and valid judicial process and these decisions are announced by the appointed and qualified courts but nothing like that happens in Kashmir.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
“Here an ordinary solider can point his gun and kill anybody anytime and after that nobody dares to question him and even Mehbooba Mufti or anybody occupying the CMs chair can held him accountable for his crime,” they said.
The statement further reads that the Indian cruel forces had always played with the honour and dignity of the Kashmiri women in Kunan Poshpora like incidents but nobody cares for that and so far no justice had been done with those victims of innocence. “If these things hadn’t happened with Mehbooba Mufti till date then it doesn’t mean that our future is safe with India,” they said.
Hurriyat (G) said that the future of this state is not only insecure and unsafe with India but it is an unfavorable and bad deal in every way. “To continue its forced military occupation, India is not only inflicting worst oppression and atrocities upon the Kashmiri nation but this country is looting our natural resources with both the hands. Our water, forests, minerals, electricity etc is extensively used by India and we receive bullets, PSA, dead bodies of our loved ones and teargas shells as its revenue,” they said.
Hurriyat (G) said that India is working on a plan to make Kashmiri homeless in his own house and a stranger in his own nation. “Indian army had forcefully occupied about 30 lakh Kanals of land at prime locations and had established camps over there. More than a thousand forces camps have been established in civil populations and they have become a hell for the people living there,” they said.
According to the statement, the people living around these camps are living under a constant threat and nothing of theirs is safe and secure.
Hurriyat said that despite all this if Mehbooba Mufti still terms the future of Jammu & Kashmir safe with India then it is his intellect-bankruptcy and this kind of immature thinking have no buyers in Kashmir. “Kashmiris are struggling against the Indian forced occupation since 1947 and until the last Indian solider will leave the soil of Jammu & Kashmir, they will continue their struggle in any way and at any cost,” Hurriyat (G) said.
