Srinagar, Feb 15 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Party president Mehbooba Mufti Monday visited the grave of her father and former chief minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed in Dara Shikho in Bijbehara in Anantnag district.
Mehbooba along with mother, Gulshana Begum, brother Tasaduq Mufti and her sisters, Rubiya Sayeed and Mehmooda Sayeed, was the first to reach the graveside of late Mufti Sayeed to offer special prayers on Mufti’s chehlem (40th day of his death).
The PDP president offered prayers for about 20 minutes to offer prayers to the PDP patron and her late father.
Present on the occasion were PDP leaders including Haseeb Drabu, Sajad Mufti, Syed Altaf Buklhari, Sartaj Madni, Peer Mohammad Hussain, Nayeem Akhter, Abdul Rehman Veeri, Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjoora, Farooq Andrabi, Abdul Majeed Padder, Nazir Laway, Abdul Haq Khan, Advocate Aijaz Mir, Fayaz Mir, Yasir Reshi, Abdul Rahim Rather, Khursheed Alam, Mansoor Hussain, G R Thakur, Advocate Javaid, Sajad Ahmad Ashmuqami, Shabir Ahmad Kokernaag, S K Raina, Zahoor Mir, Javied Beigh, Zafar Manhas, Javied Mir, Chowdary Zulafqar, Mohammad Maqbool Mandoo and Chowdary Gulzar.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
