Srinagar, Dec 29(KNS): PDP President Mehbooba Mufti today accused BJP of using administration, police officials to force winning DDC candidates to switch sides.
"They blackmail Independent, PAGD candidates are being blackmailed. First they are being lured with money, incase he resists, then he is threatened of falsely implicated in a case. Some police officers are facilitating it. These candidates are detained in office of proxy party of BJP," she told reporters after a presser here.
"This is shameful and is giving a bad name to the whole sucessful election.
Offcials of Police and administration are involved in this. Those officials who resisted are being transferred. They are murdering the Democracy. They arrested Waheed to pressurise me. He won by huge margin and was not allowed to take oath despite court orders,." She added (KNS)
