Bandipora June 16 (KNS) :A mega blood donation was organised today by 26 Assam rifles  in collaboration with health department  bandipora ,LD hospital Srinagar at paribal tekri Camp bandipora.

 

The camp witnessed a massive turnout of Army persons who stood for the cause of " Give blood Save Life"maintaing the COVID -19protocol for blood donation

 

  Almost 60 army personals including CISF personals,female soilders  donated theire blood during the camp.

 

A medicle team from LD Hospital srinager collected the blood.

 

BMO Bandipora Dr Masrat  along with his team  conducted the RAT and RTPCR tests to every donor, Among the donors there were many female soldiers from 26 Asaam rifles who donated blood.

Block Medical Officer ,Dr Masrat Iqbal in collebration with Department of Hematology & Tranfusion Medicine Governmnent Lal Ded Hospital Srinagar headed by Dr Javaid Ahmad, with the theme “Give blood and keep the world beating”

 

While talking to the female  solider said that the donors may helped many precious lives by donating blood volutirely ensuring that no one  life is lost for the want of blood across j and k UT.

 

A team of medicos including Dr.Syed Liyaqat Ali,  Dr. Faizan Bashir , Dr. Abid & other paramedical staff headed by Block Medical Officer Bandipora Adjhodent 26 Assam Captain Dashkh  were present. (KNS)
