Mega Aadhaar Training Program Conducted at University of Kashmir


Srinagar, August 8, (KNS): A Mega Training Program was organized today by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), Regional Office Chandigarh, in association with Samagra Shiksha, School Education Department, Jammu & Kashmir. The training focused on the newly launched Universal Client — an advanced, fully online Aadhaar enrolment software — aimed at enhancing the efficiency and performance of Aadhaar Operators and Supervisors across the region.

The session was held at Gandhi Bhawan, University of Kashmir, Hazratbal, Srinagar, and was attended by over 190 Aadhaar operators and supervisors. The training emphasized the key features and benefits of Universal Client, highlighting its significant improvements over the previous ECMP system in terms of usability, speed, and data security.

A detailed interactive Q&A session was also held, during which Aadhaar operators raised technical and procedural queries. These were addressed live by experts from the UIDAI Tech Center who joined the session virtually through video conferencing.

This initiative reflects a strong commitment by UIDAI, Samagra Shiksha, and implementation partners to ensure timely training, upskilling, and system updates for Aadhaar field staff.
