Jammu, Apr 17 (KNS): The meeting of State Affiliation Committee was today held in the conference Hall of J&K State Board of School Education Rehari Colony Jammu under the chairmanship of Secretary Education Farooq Ahmad Shah and Chairperson JKBOSE Veena Pandita during which 272 cases were cleared which met the requisite guidelines. These included 195 extension and 77 upgradation cases from both Kashmir and Jammu Division. The meeting was attended by many officers including Director School Education Jammu Rakesh Kumar Sangral. It is pertinent to mention here that these cases were pertaining to private schools of Kashmir and Jammu Divisions.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
The meeting was held within scheduled time after 6 months during which different matters of private schools especially upgradation and affiliation were discussed and resolved.
In a joint statement issued after the meeting Secretary Education Farooq Ahmad Shah and Chairperson JKBOSE Veena Pandita said that Department of Education is committed to provide quality education to the students at their doorsteps and in the same context these cases were cleared today. (KNS)
