Srinagar, Sept 12 (KNS): Days after alleged medical negligence case came to fore at Ramzan hospital in Gogji Bagh locality of central Kashmir's srinagar city, the health officials on Monday have sealed operation hospital's operation theatre and suspended the surgeries as well.
A top heath official while confirming the development to the Kashmir News Service (KNS), said that operation theatre section was sealed by the special team of heath officials in response to a medical negligence at the hospital.
He said that the CMO srinagar has also constituted a committee to probe the matter and check facts about the said medical negligence. The committee has been further asked to file its report within seven days and if anyone is found guilty, strict action will be taken against him, he said.
On last Friday, the family members of a pregnant woman, who died at Ramzana Hospital srinagar alleged medical negligence by authorities at the hospital in the woman's death.(KNS)
