Karnah, Mar 09 (KNS): A Media Awareness Program was organized at PM SHRI Boys High School Chhamkote in Karnah, where students, teachers, and other staff members participated enthusiastically. The Headmaster of the school, Khalid Mahmood Khawaja, attended the event as the chief guest.

 

On the occasion, noted journalist Ishfaq Sayeed delivered a guest lecture, highlighting the basic principles of journalism and the role of media in the modern era. He said that in the present digital age, the nature of journalism is rapidly evolving, and social media has become one of the fastest sources of information. However, he emphasized that it is extremely important to use these platforms responsibly and carefully.

 

He advised students to verify any information or news before sharing it with others and to stay away from rumors and fake news. Addressing the gathering, Headmaster Khalid Mahmood Khawaja said that such programs help create awareness among students and introduce them to different fields of life. He thanked the guest speaker for sharing his valuable insights with the students and expressed hope that more educational and awareness programs would be organized in the future.

 

He also stated that PM SHRI High School Chhamkote has been providing quality education in the area for several years and that the teachers of the institution are continuously working for the academic and moral development of students. He added that the school encourages students not only in academics but also in co-curricular activities so that they can become responsible and productive members of society.
