Srinagar, Aug 01 (KNS): Managing Director JK Cable Car Corporation inaugurated a restaurant at Kathi Darwaza Rainawari in Srinagar on Monday.
According to a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), the restaurant will be first if it’s kind in Srinagar, which will be having the facility for customers to choose a live trout fish which shall be prepared and served to him .
The statement reads that the restaurant has been outsourced by JK Cable Car to KASHMIR TROUT chain and will not only cater to down town but the whole city.
“Now the devotees visiting Makhdoomi sahib shrine will have the facility to have sumptuous food along with the cable car ride. The restaurant is situated just at the base station of Makhdoomi sahib Ropeway. The fish will be kept in an aquarium at controlled atmosphere and customers can choose live fish of its choice from there,” it reads.
Speaking on the occasion MD cable car stated that many modifications have been made in Makhdoom sahib Ropeway along with change of it’s cabins.
He said that it has been made completely safe and its inspections have been done which have certified it’s safety.
He exhorted upon all travel agents to make the tourists have its experience and make a part of tour programme of Srinagar for tourists. (KNS
