Handwara, July 03 (KNS): Residents of various villages of Mawer Handwara on Friday complained that they are without drinking since last couple of days and the concern department is watching as mute spectator.

According to KNS Correspondent the residents of, Audoora, Umer Abad lane, Warpora and Cheki Audoora are without drinking water since last six days.

The residents said that they are being forced to fetch the water from nearby streams which poses them the threat of water borne diseases.

They have they have informed the employees of " Jal Shakti Department " but nothing has been done to restore the water supply to the area.

They have appealed the authorities to restore the drinking water facility to residents at earliest (KNS)
