Mawar zone achieves 100 percent enrolment of children in DSEK’s mega enrolment drive

Kupwara, Jan 06 (KNS): Educational zone Mawar in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district has achieved 100 percent enrolment of left-out children during a mega enrolment drive launched by the directorate of school education Kashmir across all districts of the Valley.  

An official, who is part of the mega enrolment drive told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that Mawar zone has enrolled 1706 children, which shows hard work, zeal and zest of the teachers. 

He said that the total target given to Mawer Zone was 1681, however, the zone has moved beyond the target and earned praise for the same.

Meanwhile, zonal educational officer Mawar, Mohammad Maqbool while thanking the teaching fraternity of the zone told KNS that teachers have not only made this zone proud are worthy of commendation. 

He heaped praise and thanked zonal coordinator office and its staff for their timely support and guidance to the field staff.

Notably, a mega enrolment drive was launched by DSEK in all the districts of Kashmir, wherein teachers were directed to go door to door in their respective places of posting for enrolling of left put children. (KNS)
