Srinagar, Jun 08 (KNS): Friday congregations on the eve of Jumat-ul-Vida were held across Kashmir valley and the biggest congregation in the valley was held at historic Jamia Masjid Srinagar where Mirwaiz Molvi Umar Farooq delivered Friday sermon.
According to KNS, reports said people in thousands attended the Friday congregations and biggest such congregation was held at historic Jamia Masjid Srinagar. Massive congregations were also held at Dargah Hazratbal, Khanqa-e-Mola Srinagar, Makhdoom Sahab (RA) shrine, Khanqa-e-Faiz Panah Chrare-Shareef.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq after his Friday sermon at Jamia Masjid hit out at the PDP-BJP coalition government saying that all expectations have been belied as the incumbent government has deviated from the policies of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Elsewhere in valley massive Friday congregations were held in Jamia Masjids of various towns and famed shrines during which people prayed for peace and tranquility in the state. (KNS)
