Massive blaze renders 3 families homeless, partially damages bank in Pattan locality

Pattan, Apr 04 (KNS): At least 3 families were rendered homeless after 3 residential houses were damaged in a fire incident that broke out in Khore Sherebad area of Pattan in Baramulla district on Monday. The fire also partially damaged Grameen Bank in the area.
 
An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that three residential houses belonging to Mohmmad Ramzan Bhat, Mohmmad Yousuf Bhat and Shabir Ahmed were fully damaged in the incident, while Grameen Bank was partially damaged. 
 
He said that the cause of fire was said to be short circuit in one of the residential houses, which later engulfed the nearby houses.
 
The official said that police and fire tenders reached to the spot and doused off the flames with the help of locals. 
 
He said that there was, however, no loss of life or injury reported in the incident, while 3 families were rendered homeless. (KNS)
