During his visit to the health facilities, Masoodi also accessed the pace of vaccination at all the health facilities in the district. It was reported to him that ample supply of vaccine is available at all the health facilities in the district and that the concerned health facilities also prepared to deal with the imminent third wave of the Covid-19 virulent. Masoodi rued the lack of awareness, health care facilities in rural areas of south Kashmir and asked the incumbent administration to go for mass awareness campaign among rural areas to stem out unawareness. He impressed upon the district administration to ensure availability of vaccines and testing kits is forlorn hamlets at all the government designated Covid Care centers.

Later while addressing party functionaries, DDCs, and councilors and numerous other parent body and YNC workers, Masoodi said the conversely to what was claimed by the ruling dispensation in New Delhi while shearing the special Status of JK, the situation in the region has turned from bad to worse. He said the incumbent Govt is glossing over its failures to bring about the much touted development and prosperity it had promised while unilaterally and unconstitutionally abrogating and dismembering the State of Jammu and Kashmir. “The high frequency indicators of the GOI itself gave a conclusive picture of the gross mismanagement of J&K by the incumbent central government. On the contrary the ruling dispensation at New Delhi, which helms the administration in J&K through its airdropped bureaucracy, has pulled off the region from the track of development. “A simple analysis of the SRS, HDI, and NFHS data does not in any case imply the people of J&K have been alleviated from poverty, unemployment and underdevelopment. On the contrary more than a year after the unconstitutional and unilateral abrogation of Articles 370, 35-A the state has been faring badly on all economic indicators,” he said.
