Jammu, Feb 10 (KNS): Dansal Chadali Challengers registered a convincing win by five wickets over Dhanu Super Heroes on Wednesday in the Maruti Suzuki Nagrota Premier League Tournament, an initiative of MLA Devender Singh Rana.
Winning the toss at the Bajalta playfied, Dhansal Chadali Challengers elected to field first and wrapped the innings of Dhanu Super Heroes in 14 overs at 97 runs.Kaleem and Khadim scored 24 and 23 runs respectively.
Dansal Chadali Challengers won the match by 5 wickets. Nitin scored 58 runs, by hitting eight boundaries and two sixes and remained not out, For his brilliant performance Nitin was declared Man of Match.
In the second match, Bocken Legends Jandrah won the toss and put Khanpur Panthers to bat first.
Khanpur Panthers scored 135 runs in prescribed 14 overs loosing 7 wickets. Its star batsman Ajay scored 33 runs and Akash got out after scoring 29 runs.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
For Bocken Legends Zahoor bowled brilliantly and took 2 wickets, giving 16 runs only.
Chasing the target Bocken legends were able to score 59 runs only losing their all wickets.
For Khanpur Panthers Ashwin, Rajinder and Rahul claimed two wickets each. Rahul was adjudged Man of Match for his overall performance.
The matches were officiated by Pankaj Sasun and Jagtar Singh from J&K Youth Services & Sports.
Both the matches were played under the overall supervision of Faheem Tak, Vice President Take-1 Channel and Member Organizing Committee.
A spokesman of the tournament said that Jagti Jari Legends will meet Chak Largan Eros. and Shiv Legends Nagrota will face Jandyal Super Kings tomorrow. (KNS)
