Srinagar, Apr 20 (KNS): Senior Hurriyat leader and Jammu Kashmir National Front chairman, Nayeem Ahmad Khan Thursday went to Chandoosa, Baramulla and met the parents of Sajad Hussain Sheikh who was martyred by Indian forces at Batamaloo, Srinagar some days back, the spokesman said.
Addressing the people, Nayeem Khan said that “Indian forces have become habitual of killing innocent Kashmiri youth and since there is no accountability, they are on a killing spree in nook and corner of the disputed region.”
He said that the parents of Sajad Hussain have suffered an irreparable loss and nothing on earth can compensate it however, “I assure them that the whole nation is equally mourning the cold blooded murder of their son at the hands of Indian forces.”
Khan assured that the blood of martyrs like Sajad Hussain will bear fruit in near future and the day is not far when Indian forces will have to vacate Kashmir.
He also paid tributes and expressed solidarity with the family members of Muzaffar Ahmad Mir of Zangulpora, Kulgam who attained martyrdom days after he was ‘mercilessly shot’ by the men in uniform in Ganderbal area.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Khan said that the killings of Sajad Hussain and Muzaffar Ahmad have left two families in a state of shock and both the families will have to suffer because of murders of their loved ones.
He said that not only the concerned families but the whole nation is in mourning.
JKNF chief expressed concern over the targeting of youth in nook and corner of the valley and Muslim regions of Jammu province.
He said that such tactics will not have any impact on the pro-freedom sentiment of the people.
Condemning atrocities on people especially youth of the disputed region, Khan said that “the champions of the so called democracy do not allow subjugated Kashmiris even to protest.” (KNS)
