Handwara, Apr 20 (KNS) : In order to curb black marketing, Revenue department, Food Supplies and Consumer Affairs and Police on Wednesday conducted market checking, fines several shops besides sealed four for violating standard food safety act. 
 
An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) said, that the checking squard headed by Tehsildar Qaziabad comprising officials from Food Supplies and Consumer Affairs and Police conducted market checking of various areas of Qaziabad, during the course of action team recovered fine of Rs 3000 besides destroyed decomposed vegetables and rotten fruits on spot.
 
The aim of the market checking was to maintain hygiene and fresh stock’s eatables in the market and also to curb black marketing and profiteering of essential commodities, he said. 
 
“The defaulters have been directed to remain carefull in future”, official added.(KNS)
