Srinagar, August 05 (KNS): Manzmoo village in Dooru Shahbaad area will be developed as the eco-tourism village. This was assured to villagers by MLA Dooru Syed Farooq Andrabi after exploring the potential for such tourism activity in the Manzmoo village. He was accompanied by the Director Tourism Kashmir/MD JKTDC Farooq A Shah.
The Manzmoo village is just five kms from the national highway on the left side of Jammu Srinagar highway starting from the Ujroo toll post.
Manzmoo habitation is a natural choice for the eco-tourism activities like camping, trekking, resorts, horse riding and for traditional localised tribal cuisine and culture.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThe MLA Dooroo Shabaad Syed Farooq Andrabi urged the tourism authorities to start such activities as soon as possible which will benefit the local people economically and culturally as well. Director Tourism Kashmir assured the MLA that the tourism department will make a complete DPR for promoting the said destination as the eco-tourism hub in South Kashmir with the involvement of the local populace, who will be benefited finally in all respects.
CEO Verinag Development Authority, Xen JK Tourism, representatives from floriculture, R&B and tourism departments also accompanied the MLA.
