Srinagar, Jul 05 (KNS): Society of Dental Surgeons, J&K (SDSJK) has strongly condemned the inhuman act performed by some attendants who behaved as lunatics and have manhandled a female doctor who was on night duty yesterday at Kangan Hospital and was treating patients single handedly against all odds. The child who was admitted as a case of critically sick patient was advised a proper treatment regimen and was directed for referral to SKIMS.
The attendants were in no mood to listen the doctor and wanted to be treated in a sub district hospital which do have advance pediatric facilities.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Dr Imtiyaz Banday (President SDSJK) has criticized the Government and the health authorities for turning a deaf ear to the request of establishing a foolproof security system for doctors and bringing an ordinance in this respect.
SDSJK stresses the authorities to wake up from deep slumber and act accordingly at the earliest otherwise the hospitals are becoming battlefield zones for the medical staff. (KNS)
