Police identifies slain as Marfad Hussain Shah of Mendhar

Jammu, Aug 04 (KNS): A man has been shot dead by Security forces after he was forcing his entry into National Conference President and Parliament member Dr. Farooq Abdullah's residence in Bhatandhi Jammu.
Media reports suggest that forces deployed on the security at main gate has warned him before shooting him down.
Former Chief Minster Omar Abdullah said that he was aware of the incident but added that security forces were trying to ascertain the background of the slain who had forces his entry into the house. According to KNS Omar in a tweet said, I am aware of the incident that took place at the residence my father & I share in Bhatindi, Jammu.

In another tweet the former "Chief Minister said.
Further details are awaited as the security personnel carry out the anti-sabotage checks & ascertain the background of the person who was able to force his way in to the house."
Meanwhile, the police said that the man had tried to ram into Mr Abdullah's residence and the forces had to shoot him down.
A senior police officer wishing anonymity told KNS that the slain has been identified as Marfad Hussain Shah son of Imdad Husain Shah resident of Galoda Mendhar. (KNS)
