Sarinagar, Feb 19(KNS): A 36-year-old man was critically inured after being hit by his cousin brother during a heated altercation between two families in Hajin area of north Kashmir's Bandipora district, succumbed on Monday officials said here.

An official said that the man identified as Ghulam Mohiuddin Parray, sustained critical injuries during the scuffle and was rushed to a nearby hospita where he was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment.

He said that the injured fought for his life through the night, but succumbed to his injuries on Monday. Following legal medical procedures, the body was then handed over to the family members.

Meanwhile, an official stated that the police have apprehended the accused and filed a case under the relevant sections of the law.(KNS)
