Karnah, Sept 22 ( KNS): A 50 year old man died after falling from a walnut tree in Karnah area of north Kashmir's Kupwara district on Thursday afternoon.
Reports reaching to Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that a 50-year-old man identified as Muneer Ahmad son of Ali Akbar lone resident of Suliman Tanghdar fell from the walnut tree and was immediately rushed to Sub district hospital Tanghdar where doctors declared him brought dead.
A police official also confirmed the incident and said the body has been handed over the family for last rites.
Meanwhile, a pall of gloom descended in the village as soon as the news of his death spread.(KNS)
