Handwara, October 23 (KNS): In a tragic incident, a 38-year-old man lost his life, while another was injured when they were trapped under a sand mound in Shanoo Langate, North Kashmir's Handwara.
According to KNS correspondent, the man identified as Abdul Hamid Sheikh,(38), son of Khazir Mohammad Sheikh, tragically lost his life, while another was injured during a sand extraction operation in Handwara.
The injured person is identified as Shabir Ahmad, son of Ghulam Mohammad Dar, a resident of Shanoo Langate has been shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
The police have confirmed the incident and initiated an investigation.(KNS)
