Srinagar, Dec 04 (KNS): Mallinson Girls team will take on Government Women’s College MA Road, Srinagar in the final match of the Women’s Football Championship.
A total of 10 teams of women’s football participated in the championship including Ganderbal district, Presentation Convent School, and some teams from private clubs in Srinagar.

Meanwhile, the sports activities across the state Jammu and Kashmir have gained momentum.
State Sports Council with sports associations affiliated with it has all initiated the process of organizing sports activities across the state. However, organizing of the girl’s football tournament is first major sports activity held in Srinagar after July 7 incident. (KNS)
