‘Killing small kids is no bravery’

Srinagar, Apr 02 (KNS): Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Mali was on Monday detained and shifted him to Srinagar’s central jail, a spokesman said.
According to the JKLF spokesman, Malik who participated in funeral prayers in absentia program at Sarai Bala yesterday was arrested by police today early morning and shifted to police station Kothibagh.
“Police in the wee hours of this morning cordoned the residence of Malik and immediately shifted him to police station from where he was shifted to central jail Srinagar on a three day judicial remand,” he said in a statement issued to KNS.
Malik according to the statement condemned the ongoing military onslaught on Kashmiris especially in Shopian, Kulgam and Dialgam Islamabad in which 16 Kashmiris have been butchered and hundreds injured by ‘trigger happy Indian forces’, said that “Kashmiris are being massacred by Indian occupation with impunity and no one among the human world seems to bother on this spilling of human blood.”
“When killing humans becomes a glorified act and is termed as special day by officers in uniform, it can only be termed as shocking and barbarity,” he said.
Malik said that Indian forces, police and other agencies on the orders of their political masters are continuing genocide in Kashmir and feel proud after killing small kids and unarmed men and women. “This is no bravery but utmost cowardice over which only those who have lost human instinct and conscience can feel proud and boastful,” he said.
Malik said that when spilling human blood becomes normal and a matter of pride, situation can only be termed as shocking and condemnable.
He said that choking space on peaceful political activities, responding peaceful protests with bullets, pellets, teargas and pepper shells.
“Snatching lives, vital organs and eye sight of thousands during peaceful political movement, putting thousands of young and old including women in jails, torturing, beating and humiliating young boys in police stations and military cum forces camps, showering choicest abuses and accusations on their parents, sisters and brothers in police stations that too in their presence and by all this state sponsored terrorism, pushing whole generations to the wall and leaving no space to them but to go for an ultimate sacrifice has been an despicable doing of police, occupational army and other Indian forces,” he said.
“Kashmiri youth have been pushed to arms by excesses of police, Army and forces and today after Killing many of them, same people are issuing advises and threats to intimidate us which is nothing but Hitlerism,” JKLF chairman said.
He said that let these Hitler’s in Indian avatar kill every human in Kashmir but they should know that even hills and mountains, rivers and lakes, gardens and meadows of Kashmir will ask for freedom from illegal occupation and will never surrender before their hegemony and haughtiness.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Terming one of the slain youth Zubair Ahmad Turray as a classic example of how Indian rulers, their Kashmiri supporters, police and civil administration push Kashmiri youth to armed rebellion, Malik said that this young boy was in peaceful political movement and was arrested on the charges of stone pelting.
“He was kept in jail for five long years by slapping repeated public safety acts on him and he virtually grew up in jail. Police time and again used to call his poor parents to police station where they got abuses and humiliations and at times had to spend days in police lockups,” he said.
Malik said that finally this boy was left with no choice but to flee from police custody and join armed rebellion.
JKLF chairman said that he issued many statements on the plight of martyr Zubair Turray but dead conscience rulers pay as usual did not pay any heed to these. “Today these tyrants even don’t spare his dead body and showered bullets and pellets on his mourners killing many and injuring many which is nothing but state terrorism. I want to ask those who are pouring advices to us after his martyrdom, who pushed him to the extreme path. Do these people feel any regret or human responsibility or very little humanity has perished in their souls now,” asked Malik.
He said that Indian rulers, their Kashmiri agents, assembly members, police, SOG, Army and forces should keep realty in mind that no nation that has decided to achieve freedom can be cowed-down by killings and other military operations and that Kashmiris will never surrender before them. “They must also know that every tyrant one day has to face the retribution of his crimes against humanity according to the law of retribution,” he said.
