Srinagar, Feb 28 (KNS): Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF), Muhammad Yasin Malik on Tuesday condemned the slapping of yet another PSA on a Maisuma youth Ashiq Hussein who is languishing in Kotbalwal jail from last many years.
According to a statement issued to KNS, JKLF chief said that Ashiq has been served 5th PSA today at Kotbalwal jail during one year or so.
“Similarly other youth of the same area, Faisal Aslam Khan and Zahoor Ahmad Khan are also languishing in jail from a long time,” he said.
Terming the use of black law PSA to prolong incarceration of these young boys as ‘state sponsored terrorism’, JKLF chairman said, “Thousands of youth are in jails and the rulers are prolonging their incarceration by using illegal black law PSA against them, which is undemocratic and inhuman.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel”
Meanwhile, the JKLF spokesman has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of wife of Ahmad Deen Naqashbandi.
The deceased was the mother of JKLF leader Mukhtar Hussain Naqashbandi. She was ill for some days.
JKLF chairman and others leaders visited the bereaved family including her sons Mukhtar Hussain Naqsahbandi and Nisar Hussein Naqshbandi and expressed solidarity with them.
While praying for her heavenly abode, JKLF chairman prayed for the patience of her bereaved family.
JKLF chairman also expressed grief over the sad demise of the sister of senior trade union leader Haji Bashir Ahmad Khan and aunt of senior lawyer Mir Shafaqat Hussein.
JKLF chairman visited the bereaved family and expressed solidarity with them.
