Srinagar, Mar 16 (KNS): Kashmiris are being harassed from Delhi to Calcutta and this intimidation has once again proved the fact that Kashmiris are not safe anywhere in India. Persecution of Kashmiris students is like waging war against the nation of Kashmir and no Kashmiri will tolerate this state sponsored intimidation.
In a statement to KNS, Chairman JKLF Muhammad Yasin Malik while reacting to reports of harassment of Kashmiri students studying in west Bengal and other parts of India.
Yasin Malik while reacting to media reports about Kashmiri students being intimidated in Bengal institutes said that terrorizing Kashmiri students, businessmen and others living in India states is not new, but from JNU issue, this state sponsored oppression has turned ugly and Kashmiris especially students are being harassed, intimidated and hence rulers are playing with their careers.
Yasin Malik said that by these oppressive measures Indian rulers are actually showing their venom and hatred against Kashmiris. He said that Indian rulers deem Kashmir as their colony and Kashmiris as their slaves and this ill treatment of Kashmiri students is actually a glaring example of this Indian attitude and mind-set.
JKLF chairman said that Indian state is hell bent upon destroying careers of Kashmiris and if this is not stopped immediately ,Kashmiris will have no option but to lunch a full-fledged protest program against this oppression and responsibility of all consequences will lie upon the shoulders of Indian leaders and rulers.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He asked Kashmiris studying in Indian state to concentrate on their studies and assured them that nation of Kashmir is on their back and will not budge before oppression and tyranny.
Chairman JKLF Mohammad Yasin Malik has expressed his heartfelt grief and sorrow over the sad demise of nephew of senior lawyer, intellectual and social leader advocate Zaffar Ahmad Shah sahib who breathed his last today.
Yasin Malik participated in his funeral prayers and offered his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
While terming his death as a personal loss, Yasin Malik prayed for his heavenly abode.
Meanwhile JKLF has also expressed condolences on the sad demise of Abdul Gani Wani who was father of JKLF activist Gulzar Ahmad Wani of Janglaat Mandi Islamabad. JKLF district president Muhammad Ishaaq Ganaie visited the bereaved family and expressed condolences to them. (KNS)
