Srinagar, Dec 11 (KNS): Chairman JKLF Mohammad Yasin Malik Friday addressed people at Dargah I Sultan ul Aarifeen Makhdoom Sahib here.
“Our prophets, saints and spiritual leaders showed us the way of truth and harmony. They taught us to struggle for honor and dignity of humans. Muslims all over the world today are suffering because they have left the way shown by our great prophet SAW and spiritual leaders like Makhdoom sahib. Kashmiris are a living nation and know how to safeguard their identity, diginity and honour.”
According to a statement issued to KNS, JKLF chief said that our great saints and spiritual leaders showed us the way of wisdom, tolerance, struggle and steadfastness. They told us to follow the path of truth and harmony and always live honorable life. He said that “We have forgotten the teachings of these spiritual leaders and because of this ignorance we Muslims are today suffering in our daily lives”.
Yasin Malik visited the Dargah of great religious and spiritual leader of Kashmir Sheikh Hamza Makhdoom Rahmatullah Alaih to pay homage and expresses his gratitude towards the great Peer who actually taught Kashmiris the way of living with dignity and pride. In his speech Yasin Malik said Hazrat Sheikh Hamza Makhdoom (RAH), led us on the religious and spiritual fronts. It was this great thinker and spiritual leader who besides providing us the much needed religious and spiritual teachings also taught us the way of living with dignity and honor.
Mohammad Yasin Malik said that Alas! We Kashmiri’s ignored the teachings of our Great spiritual leaders and are today facing a Miserable life. He said that we have lost the moral freedom granted by this spiritual peer and our youth are today running away from us and even from the faith.
Mohammad Yasin Malik also appealed for religious tolerance and Maslaki brotherhood among Muslims and said that promoting mutual brotherhood is the only solution that can eradicate our miseries. Yasin Malik said that our spiritual leaders taught us brotherhood and love and never indulged in any kind of sectarian disputes and we who believe in these leaders should also show restraint and tolerance.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelYasin Malik said that we should restore and save our brotherhood and defeat all those forces who want to divide us in the name of sects and casts.
Yasin Malik said that RSS led goons and chauvinists are hell bent against Islam and Muslims today. Especially our brothers living in Jammu, Udhampor, Rajpouri, Poonch, Doda ,Baderwah, Kishtawar, Ramban and other areas are their targets. He said that these people with the active support of present rulers are trying to repeat 1947 and want to expel Muslims from these areas. He said that in this situation it is our moral and religious duty to remain united and steadfast to defeat the evil designs of fascist forces and their supporters.
Yasin Malik said that the people of Jammu Kashmir are fighting a war of their future and welfare. Our struggle for freedom is actually based on truth and justice and we have been shown and taught this way of continues struggle by spiritual leaders like Makhdoom Sahib. He said that if India, Pakistan and the world want to promote peace, stability, property, tolerance and brotherhood in this region, they all will have to accept the owner status of Kashmiris and take positive steps to resolve this issue keeping in view the sacrifices, aspirations and struggle of Kashmiris. He said that Kashmiris are a living nation and know how to safeguard their identity, dignity, and honor and continue their freedom struggle against all odds.
Meanwhile Yasin Malik expressed his heartfelt grief and sorrow over the demise of father of veteran journalist Reyaz Masroor. While expressing his condolences to Reyaz Masroor, JKLF chairman prayed for the departed soul and his bereaved family.
