Poonch July 25 (KNS): Major setback to National Conference and boost to Jammu and Kashmir People's Conference (JKPC) in Poonch, where a senior most NC leader and former Sarpanch of Khari Karmara Choudhary Hakim Din along with former chairman Panchayat Khari, Karmara Sh. Mohd Sadiq and various active political activists of Gulpur, Kasalian, Khari, Karmara and surrounding Panchayats have joined JKPC here in Poonch today. Party leader and state vice president youth wing Er. Rydham Singh and his team welcome them in party.
Speaking on the occasion newly joined leaders, youth activists lambasted the anti public policies of NC and said, all former governments have befooled the general masses and always divided the people on cast, religion and area bases. They said, "they have worked for NC for more than forty years, and now felt that there is only a party which can be the hope of people of Jammu and Kashmir, which is PC". They assured that they will work for strengthening the party on grass root level. Meanwhile, Er. Rydham Singh also assured them that all their wills will be redressed and JKPC will support them at all fronts. Other party leaders who were present on the occasion were Rashid Chouhan, Captain Jaspal Singh (retired), Chain Singh, Haji Liaqat and Mohd Zaman.(KNS)
