Jammu, Sept 11 (KNS): An army major and a soldier were injured in a mine blast during patrolling in a forward post along LoC in Nowshehra sector of Rajouri district on Friday, officials said.
They told KNS that the incident took place in Khori Dhaba area, resulting in injuries to Major Varun Khajuria and another personal Subedar Ishwar Singh of 16 Grenadiers.
A police office also confirmed the incident and said the duo has been shifted to Army Hospital Udhampur for advanced treatment. (KNS)
