DFP protest in Kulgam against continuous house detention of Geelani, Shah

Srinagar, Apr 29 (KNS): Terming the 3-point formula of UN peace building commission chairman Macharia Kamau as unrealistic, the incarcerated chairman of Democratic Freedom Party (DFP) Shabir Ahmad Shah on Friday said that Kashmir is not a bilateral or a border issue between India and Pakistan but the issue concerning the right and freedom of more than 13 million people.
In a statement issued to KNS, Shah while reacting to Macharia’s remarks said if a local issue like South Sudan was resolved through UN interference and East Timur got divided with the interference of world powers, then how come India decide the future of 13 million people without taking them on board.
Shah made it clear that Jammu Kashmir has its separate history and identity and was a free nation even when India and Pakistan were under British imperialist rule. He said the 18 resolutions pending in UN Security Council is a proof that Kashmir is neither an internal matter of any country nor a border dispute between India and Pakistan. He said Macharia Kamau must read the history of Jammu Kashmir and there solutions that lie pending in the world body while urging him to initiate sincere efforts in finding solution to the issues concerning the freedom of subjugated nations.
Shah also hailed the statements of Pakistan PM’s advisor Sartaj Azizand BarjeesTahir in which they said that Kashmir issue will be resolved as per the wishes and aspirations of its people.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
