Srinagar, September 26 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma on Saturday met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi and raised the issue of enhancement of salaries of Special Police Officers (SPOs).
Sharma apprised Shah that the proposal for enhancement of SPO salaries is at the final stage and requested the Home Minister to expedite the matter for its early conclusion.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
LoP Sharma also sought the Centre's continued support in resolving the issue, keeping in view the role of SPOs in Jammu and Kashmir's security framework.(KNS)
