Langate, April 6 (KNS): Residents of Mawer Qalamabad and adjoining villages of Kupwara's Handwara are facing immense hardships as the business unit Jammu and Kashmir Bank is functioning in a single room.
General Secretary traders federation Qalamabad and President Fruit growers association, Raja Akabr told KNS that the bank has atleast sixty thousands accounts and it caters number of villages thus witnessing a huge rush on daily basis.
He said that people especially elder ones and women's are facing immense hardships however authorities at Jammu and Kashmir Bank pays deaf ears.
The traders, fruit growers, and other associations of the area urged Jammu and Kashmir Bank authorities to provide them a new building for the bank where people will not face the space issues and the bank will run smoothly.
They said that all the counters of the bank are running in a single room and the result the bank staff, as well as people, is facing the issues.(KNS)
