Srinagar,  Aug 11 (KNS) :Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha will preside over the main Independence Day function Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium Srinagar while the newly elected District Development Council (DDC) chairpersons shall be the chief guests in their respective districts.

An order issued by the Jammu kashmir Government in this regard, reads the
Jammu and Kashmir's  Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinhavwill preside over the main Independence Day function to be held at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium Srinagar

It futher stated that the LG's Advisor R R Bhatnagar will preside over the function at M A Stadium in Jammu while the other Advisor's, mayor's and DDC chairpersons of the of Jammu and Srinagar shall attend the main functions in their respective cities. 

The order futher said that the DDC chairpersons shall preside over the functions and rake salute at march past in their respective districts while the BDC chairpersons will preside over the functions in their respective blocks.(KNS).
