Srinagar, Sept 4 (KNS): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for unveiling the Next-Generation Goods and Services Tax (GST) Reforms, describing them as a significant step to strengthen India’s economy and empower key sectors.

“Heartfelt thanks to PM Narendra Modi and FM Nirmala Sitharaman for Next-Gen GST Reforms. It'll empower MSMEs and farmers and accelerate manufacturing. It'll improve ease of living and ease of doing business while further strengthening our fastest growing economy,” Sinha wrote as per KNS.
The new GST framework, announced after the GST Council’s deliberations, is aimed at simplifying the indirect tax regime, reducing compliance burdens, and ensuring a more efficient system of revenue collection.(KNS)
