Katra, June 5 (KNS): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday inspected the arrangements in Katra ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled public meeting tomorrow.
The LG reviewed the preparations and directed officials to ensure strict security, safety measures, and smooth coordination among departments for the successful conduct of the event.
Prime Minister Modi is set to dedicate several landmark infrastructure projects to the nation, including the world’s highest railway arch – the Chenab Bridge, India’s first cable-stayed Anji rail bridge, and the Udhampur-Srinagar-Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) project.

“The inauguration of key infrastructure projects is a testament to the Prime Minister’s commitment to the rapid and inclusive development of Jammu and Kashmir,” Sinha said.
He added that the inauguration of the Chenab and Anji bridges, along with the flagging off of Vande Bharat trains, will mark a historic moment for the region and shape a brighter future for its people.(KNS)
