 Srinagar, Mar 18 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah have extended their warm greetings and best wishes to the people on the auspicious occasions of Navreh, Chaitra Sukladi, Ugadi, Gudi Padwa, Cheti Chand, and the beginning of Chaitra Navratri.

 
In his message, the Lieutenant Governor said, "On the auspicious occasion of Navreh, Chaitra Sukladi, Ugadi, Gudi Padwa, and Cheti Chand, I extend my greetings and good wishes to all."
 
He underscored the national character of these celebrations, stating, "These festivals, observed throughout the nation, herald the dawn of the New Year and embody the profound renewal of faith and hope." Meanwhile, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah also extended his warm greetings on Chaitra Navratri and specifically addressed the Kashmiri Pandit community on the occasion of Navreh.
 
The Chief Minister described Navratri as the beginning of the New Year that "symbolizes the triumph of truth, righteousness, and virtue over evil."
 
"On this auspicious occasion, I extend my warm wishes to everyone for their success, happiness, and well-being," the Chief Minister said.
 
He further added a message of unity, expressing hope that "these festivals strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and inspire us to dedicate ourselves to the service of humanity." —(KNS)
