Srinagar, June 13 (KNS): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today chaired a high-level meeting to review security and administrative arrangements for the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025.
Top officials including Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo, DGP Nalin Prabhat, GoC 15 Corps Lt Gen Prashant Srivastava, and senior officers from the Army, J&K Police, CRPF, IB, and other agencies attended the meeting.
The LG took a detailed review of the security grid and instructed for enhanced coordination among civil administration, security forces, and Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) to ensure the safe and smooth conduct of the Yatra.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He emphasized foolproof security, quick response plans, and seamless communication among all departments and forces. He also reviewed contingency plans, deployment strategies, and emergency preparedness.
Dr. Mandeep K. Bhandari, CEO SASB and Principal Secretary to LG, briefed the meeting on the Yatra facilities and improvements made for the convenience of pilgrims.
The LG directed all stakeholders to work in close coordination for a peaceful and well-managed Yatra season.(KNS)
